Kathmandu, June 5. Popular messaging application, WhatsApp is set to roll out a new feature. WhatsApp will be allowing its users to edit messages even after it is sent.

WhatsApp feature update tracker, WABetaInfo, is reporting that WhatsApp is testing the edit feature, at the time of writing, on Android. Further, it may arrive at the iOS and desktop versions soon.

WhatsApp worked on the feature five years ago and discontinued after Twitter considered the feature. However, currently the makers have considered the feature to be implemented.

Further, the edit feature will appear after the user long presses a message. A menu will appear, where the edit option will be presented. The feature will be different from the earlier versions of the application, as earlier versions required a message to be deleted completely. The edit feature will allow user to make changes to sent messages without fully deleting it.
