Minister Ale, Spain Ambassador Dominguez hold meeting
Kathmandu, June 10. Spain’s non-resident ambassador to Nepal, Jose Maria Ridao Dominguez held a meeting with Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale. The ambassador visited the Minister at his office on Friday and discussed matters of Nepal- Spain bilateral relations.
Minister Ale said, “At present COVID-19 infections rate is about to come to zero and we urge the Spanish people to travel to Nepal for touristic activities.” He applauded Spain in its efforts to tackle climate change.He also informed the ambassador of about Nepal’s significant progress in the recent ‘ICAO safety audit’.
Further, Minister Ale termed Spain as Nepal’s important development partner and thanked Spain for its valuable support to Nepal during the covid pandemic and 2015 earthquake.
The ambassador expressed commitment to help Nepal in tackling climate change, adding that Spain is willing to cooperate with Nepal for enhancement of relations.
