Kathmandu, July 5. Armed Police Force on Tuesday, detained two individuals with Rs. 8.364 million rupees hidden inside a potato-filled sack.
Inspector Shambhu Katuwal told reporters that 19-year old Rajesh Mandal and 36-year-old Rajesh Mandal were caught from the Inarwa border point.
“They were returning from India on a motorcycle (J7 Pa 5007) carrying the cash hidden inside a sack of potatoes,” Katuwal noted.
The border security unit confirmed that the criminals have been submitted to the Janakpur-based District Customs Office.
