Foreign Affairs Minister Khadka in London to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

Kathmandu, September 18. Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Narayan Khadka has landed in Britain to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. The British government invited the Government of Nepal to attend the Queen’s funeral.
Further, Minister Khadka was welcomed by a team from the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs at Heathrow Airport on Saturday. Nepali Ambassador to the UK Gyan Chandra Acharya was also present to receive the minister.
According to Roshan Khanal, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Nepal in London, Minister Khadka will attend the funeral service and receptions hosted by His Majesty the King and Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom.
More recently, Minister Khadka has signed the Official Condolence Book at Lancaster House on Sunday.
He is scheduled to return on September 21.
