Former Policeman kills 24 children at Daycare centre in Northeast Thailand

Kathmandu, October 7. On Thursday, a shooting at a daycare center in the Nong Bua Lamphu region of northeastern Thailand left at least 38 people dead, including 24 children.

The police department identified the attacker as a former policeman who open fired inside the childcare building, murdering 37 people before turning his firearm on himself.

The department confirmed that many of the victims were children, most of them between the ages of 2 and 5. Most of them died from knife stabbings.

After launching a manhunt for the attacker, Investigation Bureau later reported that he had been discovered at his house, where he had killed his wife, child, and then himself.
