Chinese firm Xpeng tests flying taxi in Dubai

Kathmandu, October 11. A model of flying taxi has been tested in Dubai. A Chinese firm named Xpeng tested a flying car model named X2.
The flying vehicle can undertake 500kgs on takeoff and has eight propellers. It is fully electric and has vertical take off and landing capabilities. Further, the test flight conducted on Monday was an unmanned flight. The vehicle is said to be a two seater and can speed up to 130 kmph.
While safety issues remain a concern, Dubai remains a hub of technology and innovation. It might take a few years before such kind of transportation comes fully into function.
