US President Biden pledges advanced air defense systems to Ukraine

Kathmandu, October 11. US President Joe Biden has lashed out on Russia for the recent attacks of missiles on Ukraine.
According to Ukraine, as many as 14 people have been killed and 84 missile have been fired upon by Russia. President Biden has pledged advanced air defense systems to Ukraine.
Further, President Biden spoke to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and reiterated support for Ukraine revealing defense will be number one priority. He further condemned Russia’s attacks and said US stood with people of Ukraine. He added that Putin will be held accountable for his actions and US will continue to impose costs on Russia for the same.
Meanwhile, Putin said Russia will go forward with attacks post the blast at the bridge linking Crimean Peninsula. Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for the blast, but Russia has blamed Ukraine and called it an “act of terrorism.”
