400 drivers faced action for having “unclear number plates” in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, October 16. The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office on Saturday conducted a special checking campaign.

During the one-day campaign, the traffic police took action against 1,407 drivers for violating traffic rules.

  • 788 drivers faced action against various traffic offenses
  • 446 faced action for having unclear number plates on their vehicle.
  • 155 drivers faced action for overspeeding
  • 5 for unnecessarily blowing the horn
  • 4 for drinking and driving
  • 2 motorcyclists for unusually high noise
