Kathmandu, October 17. As the festival of Tihar is near, flowers of Marigold and Globe amaranth are seen blooming in the fields of Bhaktapur. The visuals of these flowers blooming are truly mesmerizing.
The flower farmers of Bhaktapur and Lalitpur earn a handsome amount by selling these flowers during the festive season. However, flower farmers have complained that they are forced to bear loss as flowers from India are imported and sold at a cheaper rate.
