Drunk passenger attacks flight attendant, flight makes emergency landing

Kathmandu, October 18. A flight that was headed for Jakarta from Istanbul was diverted to make an emergency landing in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, after a drunk passenger attacked a cabin crew member.
The incident occurred in a Turkish Air flight. A video that is widely being circulated in social media shows a passenger biting a flight attendant’s finger and punching him.
Further, the passenger attacked the flight attendants with plastic handcuffs and the attendant retaliated. Other crew members rushed to help the attendant and control the situation; according to an article in India Today.
Moreover, the eleven hour flight was diverted after nine hours due to the chaos. The injured passenger was dropped at Kualanamu Airport, Medan, according to a spokesperson of Jakarta Police.
While the incident is being investigated, the passenger is receiving treatment at Kualanamu Health Clinic.
