US President Biden to vote early with granddaughter in midterm elections
Kathmandu, October 28. US President Biden will be voting this weekend in Delaware with his granddaughter for the midterm elections. The in-person early voting will begin Friday.
Natalie, his granddaughter is 18 and a first time voter. Further, Biden is casting his vote so as to encourage supporters and maximize their turnout. Biden will be staying at his Wilmington home and spending his weekend there.
Additionally, he will also be visiting Philadelphia for an event on Friday. A Democratic official revealed the event will be attended by Vice-President Kamala Harris; further adding the fundraiser will raise US$ 1 million for the state party.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden exercised his constitutional right and also thanked the poll workers for their work during his visit.
