S. Korea in shock after 153 killed in Halloween stampede

Kathmandu, October 30. The South Korean capital, Seoul is in a state of shock as more than 150 people were killed in a deadly stampede on Saturday.
The stampede took place in Itaewon area in the capital. People were celebrating Halloween. Further, according to officials the death toll is 153 and number of injured is 133 as of Sunday evening. The numbers are expected to rise. More than 80% of the dead are in their 20s and 30s. Moreover, 22 foreigners were killed in the incident.
While witnesses said that the streets were packed with people and slow moving vehicles, an estimated 100,000 people were visiting the area for the Halloween.
Relatives and and concerned people have called for missing relatives and inquired for them, according to officials.
The bodies of the dead are kept at 42 hospitals in Seoul and nearby Gyeonggi province.
