Influence of westerly wind : Light rainfall forecasted today

Kathmandu, February 26. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted that there is a decent possibility of light rainfall in some areas along the hilly belt.
“The impact of the Westerly low-pressure system is likely to bring light rainfall at a few places of the mountainous regions in the next 24 hours.” the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said on Sunday morning.
“Light rain is likely to occur along the mountain belt of Province 1, Bagmati Province and Gandaki province,” Meteorologist Rojana Lamichhane said.
According to the Division’s latest updates, the Kathmandu Valley this morning experienced a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius and is likely to touch the highest point of 23 degrees during the daytime.
