Nepal Police arrest two person with five kilograms of Marijuana brought from the USA
Kathmandu, March 9. On Wednesday, Nepal Police arrested two smugglers in Kathmandu along with seven kilograms of marijuana.
The Nepal Police Narcotics Control Bureau informed reporters that a special team was investigating marijuana smuggling activities at Tribhuvan International Airport. During the investigation, the team apprehended two people who arrived in Kathmandu via the UAE route from the United States.
“30-year-old Indian citizen Nimesh Ashokbhai and 28-year-old Nepali citizen Faij Alam were arrested with a parcel weighing 4.5 kilograms. Indian Adhar cards and 2.2 lakh Nepali rupees were recovered rom the hotel room,” said Superintendent of Police Chakra Raj Joshi.
Rupak Aryal of Gorkha was also apprehended with 2.4 kg of marijuana
