Kathmandu, March 11. After a six-month-long dry season, Kathmandu Valley is finally experiencing heavy rainfall, bringing joy and relief to the people.
The Department of Water and Meteorology on Saturday reported that most areas of the valley, including Dhap, Sundarijal of Kathmandu, and Nagarkot area of Bhaktapur, are receiving abundant rainfall.
The Patan area of Lalitpur also witnessed slight rainfall this evening, and the residents are relieved to see the much-needed rain. The western winds prevailing across the country have played a significant role in bringing about this change in the weather.
