Swiss ambassador Elisabeth von Capeller concludes term with farewell visit to Nepali president

Kathmandu, June 10. On Friday, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, Elisabeth von Capeller, concluded her five and a half years term and made a farewell visit to President Ram Chandra Paudel’s office in Shital Niwas, Kathmandu.
According to the President’s foreign affairs expert, Dr Suresh Chandra Chalise, President Paudel expressed admiration for the Swiss government’s exemplary goodwill towards Nepal’s development and its people in various sectors.
Chalice also said that the President took a moment to recognize and appreciate the notable efforts made by Ambassador Capeller in advancing the bilateral ties between the two nations throughout her tenure.
“The President also expressed his belief that the relations between the two countries would further strengthen in the days to come, “ Chalise said.
In a tweet, Ambassador Capeller expressed her gratitude for the farewell meeting with President Poudel, stating, “Farewell meeting with Right Honorable President Mr. Ram Chandra Poudel where he shared his personal experience on Switzerland’s support to Nepal, which was very touching and appreciated.”
