Ministry Decides on BP Koirala National Award Recipients

Kathmandu, July 21: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has made a significant decision to recognize and honor four individuals with the prestigious BP Koirala National Award.

While speaking about the recipients, the selected personalities are senior politicians Kul Bahadur Gurung from Ilam and Dhundi Raj Paudel from Arghakhanchi in the category of political philosophy. Additionally, Devi Prasad Upadhyay Regmi from Syangja and Giri Raj Acharya from Dharan have been chosen for the award under the literature category.

The award ceremony will take place on July 22 during a special function at the BP Museum in Sundarijal, coinciding with the Memorial Day of BP Koirala. The ministry officially announced the decision to honor these four distinguished individuals on June 28.
