Three Lives Lost in Road Accidents
Kathmandu, July 22: Three individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents that occurred in Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts on Saturday.
As per the information provided by the police, a tragic accident took place at Hattiban, Lalitpur, where a bus (Ba 3 Kha 4108) collided with a motorcycle (Ba 56 Pa 3452), resulting in the death of two individuals riding the motorcycle. The deceased have been identified as Jiban Tamang, aged 31, the motorcyclist, and Man Bahadur Waiba, aged 29, the pillion rider, both hailing from Makawanpur. Despite receiving treatment at B and B Hospital, both victims succumbed to their serious injuries.The driver and helper of the bus have been apprehended by the police in connection with the accident.
Similarly, at Shantinagar in Kathmandu, a pedestrian, identified as Ram Bhakta Shrestha, aged 38, from Thaha Municipality-1 in Makawanpur, lost his life after being hit by a Tempo (Ba 1 Ha 3884). Unfortunately, Shrestha passed away while undergoing treatment at B and B Hospital on the same day.
