Nepali Congress Reaffirms Zero-Tolerance Approach to Corruption and Offenses

Kathmandu, July 27: Nepali Congress (NC) Spokesperson and Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat has reiterated the party’s policy of zero-tolerance against corruption and irregularities.

While speaking at a press meet held at the NC central office in Lalitpur on Wednesday, where the decisions of the party’s central working committee were unveiled, Dr. Mahat emphasized, “The Congress always upholds the principles of good governance.”

He further added that the Nepali Congress remains committed to not providing protection to any individuals involved in any offenses. Dr. Mahat emphasized that every person is considered innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the law.

Regarding the latest three-level elections, the party Spokesperson mentioned that the Nepali Congress has lifted its disciplinary action against rival candidates.
