Kathmandu, July 28 : Engineer Hari Kumar Pokharel, Director of Mid-Hill Highway, has been arrested by the police on charges of raping a girl.
Chief of the District Police Range and Senior Superintendent of Police Dan Bahadur Karki confirmed that Pokharel was apprehended from Tripureshwor in Kathmandu today.
The arrest came after the girl filed a complaint against Pokharel, leading to police taking action against him.
