Kathmandu, Nov 7: In a heartwarming response to the recent earthquake disaster in Jajarkot and Rukum West, the Nepali Congress has stepped forward to support the affected communities. Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of the Nepali Congress, handed over a generous donation of 50 lakhs to assist the earthquake victims.

Today, at Baluwatar, Chairman Deuba presented a 50 lakh check to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda for the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. This act of compassion and solidarity is a significant contribution to help those in need during these challenging times.

The earthquake, which struck Ramidanda in Jajarkot, resulted in extensive financial loss and tragic consequences. It led to the loss of hundreds of lives and left thousands of citizens without homes. In response, political parties like the Nepali Congress have continued to provide valuable assistance, highlighting the unity and support that can emerge in the face of such natural disasters.
