Kathmandu, Jan 2: A total of 16 individuals were arrested in two separate incidents related to gambling. In Gokarneshwar Municipality-9, Sindhupalchok, 8 people, including Tamang, were apprehended for gambling at Tamang’s residence. Similarly, in Kavrepalanchok Chaurideurali Rural Municipality-3, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17, another 8 individuals, including Himal Tamang, were arrested for gambling in Tamang’s apartment. The police seized Rs. 1,62,900 in cash and a gambling book during the arrests. Investigations into both incidents are underway.
