Karnali Trio Embarks on Global Cycling Tour to Promote Nepal’s Tourism and Environmental Conservation
Mugu, Jan 9: In a remarkable endeavor, three young men from Karnali Province have initiated a world cycling tour with the goal of showcasing Nepal on the global stage. Setting off from Pashupatinath in Kathmandu, they proudly carry the national flag of Nepal, aiming to promote the country, contribute to tourism development, and advocate for environmental protection.
The trio, consisting of Ajay Malla from Chhayanatharara Municipality-1, Keshav Prasad Rizal, and Sanat Prasad Regmi from Dailekh, envisions spreading the message of peace, raising awareness about Nepal’s tourism potential, and addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change.
The cyclists plan to traverse India, Pakistan, Laos, Thailand, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and China in the initial phase of their journey. This ambitious cycling tour follows their previous expedition, where they cycled from Mechi to Mahakali, demonstrating their dedication to promoting the beauty and significance of Nepal on the global platform.
