Chairman KP Sharma Oli Emphasizes Discipline in Society During Nepal Sports Federation Meeting
Kathmandu, Jan 18: The Chairman of CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli, addressed the second meeting of the Nepal Sports Federation, expressing concerns about the lack of discipline in society. The event, held at the UML’s central office in Lalitpur, Chaisal, highlighted the need for discipline beyond the realm of sports.
Chairman Oli praised sportsmen for their exemplary discipline and urged society to adopt a similar ethos. He emphasized the importance of discipline in various fields, asserting that it should become a social norm. Oli called on everyone to lead disciplined lives.
Acknowledging the challenging situation the country is facing, President Oli emphasized the need to protect Nepal from difficulties on all fronts. He underscored the necessity of launching a movement, leveraging the strength of the people, to safeguard the country from potential destruction.
“Nepal is our country, and we are its citizens. We must unite and move forward at any cost to save Nepal,” Oli stated. The program also featured Bhanubhakta Dhakal, a UML standing committee member, who advocated for the establishment of a sports federation to enhance organizational strength. Parashuram Basnet, the President of Mahasangh, emphasized that the promotion of sports would attract more youth to the party.
