Kathmandu, Aug 5: Nepal triumphed over the Maldives in the Kava Women’s Nations League held in Kathmandu.
Nepal won 3-0 in straight sets during the match at the National Sports Council Covered Hall in Tripureshwor on Monday, with scores of 25-8, 25-19, and 25-18.
With this victory, Nepal has advanced to the semi-finals, while the Maldives has been eliminated from the competition. Nepal will face Iran in the semi-final, and India will compete against Sri Lanka in the other semi-final on Tuesday. According to the Nepal Volleyball Association, the final and third-place matches will be held on Wednesday.
