Parsa, Sept 8: The Parsa district administration has imposed a ban on the use of DJ speakers and loudspeakers during political and religious-cultural events, citing concerns over their negative impact on human health. The decision was made during a District Security Committee meeting held on August 21, chaired by the Chief District Officer of Parsa.

The meeting concluded that excessive noise from DJs, loudspeakers, and fireworks during festivals, religious rallies, processions, and public events poses a direct threat to health. As a result, strict control measures will be enforced to limit such activities.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Deepak Bharti, stated that anyone engaging in loud noise or fireworks in Parsa will face arrest and punishment as per the law. Further, legal action will be taken if individuals continue these acts despite prior warnings.
