Sandeep Lamichhane Granted US Visa for Tri-Nation ODI Series
Kathmandu, Oct 18: Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced that national cricket team member Sandeep Lamichhane has been granted a US visa and will depart for America this evening.
“Sandeep Lamichhane, who will represent Nepal in the tri-nation ODI series involving Nepal, Scotland, and America, scheduled from October 25 to November 4, has received a visa from the US Embassy,” the official statement from CAN reads.
Lamichhane had previously faced multiple visa rejections and returned to Nepal after playing the World Cup League Two series in Canada.
The triangular series will take place in the US from October 25 to November 4. Nepal’s first match is against the host team, America, on October 27, followed by a match against Scotland on October 29.
