Taplejung, Oct 19: A total of 5,983 devotees visited Pathibhara Temple, a popular pilgrimage site in Taplejung, in a single day following the Dasain Tika celebrations. According to the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, this number surpasses last October’s pilgrim count.

In October, the temple had recorded 5,949 visitors. The number of devotees was initially low before Dasain due to road disruptions caused by floods and landslides across the country. However, the site has seen a surge in pilgrims, especially during the festivals of **Badadasain** and **Chaitedasain**.

Prajin Hangbang, Executive Director of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate the increased influx of visitors during this peak season.
