Morang, Jan 27: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has clarified that she has not made any decision about taking on a leadership role in party politics.
Speaking to reporters in Biratnagar on Monday, Bhandari stated that she is not ready to lead the APU Dal and has not taken any steps in that direction. She emphasized that while she has previously been a part of the UML, she has not yet submitted any application for membership.
Bhandari acknowledged that it is natural to be interested in national politics, expressing her deep concern for the country’s stability, peace, and progress.
She also highlighted the ongoing debate around how to keep Nepal’s youth engaged and provide them with better employment opportunities.
