Real Madrid Held to Draw by Osasuna, Title Race Heats Up in La Liga

Kathmandu, Feb 16: Real Madrid, the leaders of Spanish La Liga, were held to a 1-1 draw by Osasuna on Saturday night.

Real took an early lead in the 15th minute with a goal from Kylian Mbappe. However, the team was reduced to 10 players after Jude Bellingham received a red card in the 39th minute.

Osasuna equalized in the 57th minute through a penalty scored by Ante Budimir, and both teams failed to score again. The draw keeps Real Madrid at the top of the table with 57 points from 24 games, while Osasuna is seventh with 32 points.

Second-placed Atletico Madrid also drew 1-1 with Celta Vigo, leaving them with 50 points from 24 games. Meanwhile, Barcelona, who have played one game less, also have 50 points.

The title race between Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona is now set to be an exciting showdown in the final stretch of the season.
