PM Oli Expresses Concern Over Arrests and Forced Eviction of Nepali Students in Bhubaneswar

Kathmandu, Feb 17: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has raised concerns following incidents involving Nepali students in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha.
The Prime Minister’s statement comes after a video went viral showing a Nepali student being forcibly evicted from their hostel. Additionally, the death of another Nepali student at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University in Odisha has drawn attention.
Prime Minister Oli noted that the government is actively engaging diplomatically to address both incidents. “The government is working to keep in touch with the issue diplomatically,” he stated, referring to the situation that has gained significant traction on social media and news outlets.
The diplomatic efforts are focused on resolving the matters swiftly and ensuring the safety and well-being of Nepali students abroad.
