Court Asked to Extend Remand of Arrested Monarchist Leaders

Kathmandu, March 30: The Kathmandu District Court has been requested to extend the remand of several arrested monarchist leaders, including Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Senior Vice-Chairman Rabindra Mishra.

The arrested individuals, including Munindra Rajbhandari, Santosh Rajavadi, and others, were presented before the prosecutor’s office on charges of playing a violent role in Friday’s monarchy movement in Tinkune, Kathmandu.

Reports indicate that Dhawal Shamser Jabra was assaulted inside a vehicle, while Mishra and others were handcuffed as they were taken into custody.
