PSG Clinch Ligue 1 Title with Six Games to Spare After 1-0 Win Over Angers

Paris, April 6: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have secured the French Ligue 1 title for the 2024/25 season with six games remaining, following a 1-0 victory over Angers on Saturday.
Luis Enrique’s side needed only a draw to seal the championship but secured all three points thanks to a goal in the 55th minute.
This marks PSG’s 11th Ligue 1 title in the past 13 seasons and their 13th overall in the French top division. The last time PSG won the league this early was in 2016 with eight games to spare, a feat Lyon also achieved in 2007 with six games left.
A 19-year-old forward, in his debut season at PSG after transferring from Stade Rennais, has been instrumental with 11 goals and 11 assists, further highlighting the team’s attacking dominance.

- Monaco – 51 points from 28 matches
- Angers – 14th place with 27 points
PSG’s dominance continues as they cruise to yet another Ligue 1 crown.
