Nepal Requests Israel to Ensure Safety of Nepalis Amid Iran Conflict

Kathmandu, June 16: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has requested the Israeli government to ensure the safety of Nepali citizens amid the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran.
During a meeting with Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Shmulik Eri Bass at the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Rana was briefed on the latest situation and military developments. She stressed the need for Israel’s cooperation in safeguarding Nepalis living in conflict-affected regions.
Ambassador Bass assured that Nepalis in Israel are currently safe.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had earlier released a statement confirming that Nepalis in both Israel and Iran are secure. Minister Rana also held telephone conversations with Nepali ambassadors in Tel Aviv and Doha, instructing them to closely monitor the situation and prioritize the safety of Nepali nationals.
The ministry emphasized that the government is actively observing the conflict and will take all necessary steps to protect Nepalis in the region.
