Kathmandu, June 19: Rajunath Pandey, the Chief of Kathmandu Municipal Police, has resumed his duties after the Patan High Court ordered the suspension against him to be halted.
A bench comprising Justices Rishi Rajbhandari and Dilli Ratna Shrestha on Wednesday directed that the suspension order not be implemented. Following the court’s decision, Pandey arrived at the Metropolitan Police Force office on Thursday and resumed his responsibilities.
The High Court has allowed Pandey to continue serving as city police chief until the final verdict on the ongoing case is delivered.
