Kathmandu, June 29: The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has said that Iran might be able to restart uranium enrichment within a few months.

In an interview with CBS News, Grossi mentioned that while US attacks have damaged Iran’s nuclear sites, they were not completely destroyed.

This statement came after US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran’s nuclear facilities had been totally “destroyed.”

On June 13, Israel launched strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, saying Iran was close to developing nuclear weapons. Following this, the United States also targeted key Iranian facilities in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. In response, Iran has retaliated against both Israel and the US.
