Darai Secures Two Bronze Medals
Muju, South Korea, June 30 : Master Raj Kumar Darai, has brought home two bronze medals from the prestigious 2025 World Olympics Taekwondo Championship held in Muju, Korea, from June 26 to June 29, 2025.
Master Raj Kumar Darai, representing Nepal as athlete, showcased outstanding performance and clinched a bronze medal in Individual Poomsae. Demonstrating skill, precision, and dedication, his performance brought pride to the Nepali Taekwondo community on the global stage.
In the Gyeorugi (sparring) category, Mr. Darai added another bronze to its tally. Competing in the Senior Male 68–72 kg division, the Nepali athlete fought with strength and strategy, securing a hard-earned bronze medal in a highly competitive bracket.
The team was expertly led by Coach Rohit Rajbanshi, whose guidance and preparation were instrumental in the athletes’ success.
These achievements mark a significant milestone for Nepali Taekwondo on the international stage and inspire a new generation of martial artists across the country.
