Trump Warns Against Iran Restarting Nuclear Program, Plans Talks with Netanyahu

Kathmandu, Jul 6: US President Donald Trump has said that Iran has not agreed to compromise on its nuclear program or stop uranium enrichment, raising fresh concerns over regional security.
Speaking to reporters, Trump noted that while Iran’s nuclear activities appear to be paused for now, there is a risk they could be resumed secretly. “It looks like Iran’s nuclear program is suspended for now but it can resume it elsewhere. If that happens, it will be a big problem,” he said.
Trump also announced he would meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House to discuss Iran. He emphasized that the US will not allow Iran to restart its nuclear program.
The US president went further, claiming that Iranian officials want to kill him, though he did not provide specific details.
Meanwhile, US intelligence agencies and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi have both stated that there is no evidence Iran is currently attempting to build a nuclear bomb.
