Kathmandu, July 19: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that an average of 2.55 kilometers of road have been constructed each day in the current fiscal year, totaling 932 kilometers of blacktopped roads so far.

Sharing updates through social media on what he called “the path of prosperity,” Oli claimed that the pace of physical infrastructure development has reached a new high under his government, comparable only to the surge seen six years ago during his previous term.

“When our government was in power six years ago, the rate of infrastructure development was a record. Now again, we are seeing the same momentum. This progress must be accelerated even more,” said the Prime Minister.

He made these remarks while congratulating engineers on the occasion of Engineers’ Day, describing them as “our reliable manpower, from physical infrastructure to technological development.”
