Kathmandu, Aug 2: Kathmandu Chronicles is an exciting new
experience designed to showcase the beauty, history, and culture of Nepal. As part of
MCube Nepal, an proprietary event hosted by Marriott Kathmandu, this initiative takes the
idea of connection and partnership beyond the conference room and into the living heritage
of Nepal. This event is designed for Marriott’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and
Exhibitions) partners and stakeholders. Its objective is to foster connection and
collaboration while showcasing Kathmandu’s rich cultural heritage through an engaging,
experiential journey.
At its core, Kathmandu Chronicles is a treasure hunt through three of the city’s most iconic
heritage sites, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath.
Participants, divided into teams, will travel in BYD cars, solve riddles, and complete tasks
that bring the stories of these landmarks to life. It also highlights Nepal as a vibrant
destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), proving that
business gatherings here can be combined with unique cultural experiences.
From historic courtyards to ancient temples, every stop becomes a blend of fun, learning,
and team spirit. The event starts at Marriott Kathmandu and concludes at Fairfield by
Marriott with a celebration where the winning team will be honored as “Kathmandu
Experts.”
Through this collaboration between MCube and BYD, participants will take away not just
memories, but also a new perspective on Kathmandu as a city of heritage and hospitality.
