Prime Minister Sushila Karki to Address Nation on Thursday
Kathmandu, Sept 24: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to address the nation on Thursday. According to the Prime Minister and Cabinet Office, a Cabinet meeting will be held at 4:00 pm and the Prime Minister will address the nation at 6:00 pm.
This will be Prime Minister Karki’s first national address since leading the interim government formed after the Genji movement. Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki was appointed prime minister on August 23 under the interim government established following the movement.
The government led by Prime Minister Karki has dissolved the House of Representatives and announced elections in March. The cabinet has already been expanded three times under her leadership, with its primary task focused on holding elections within six months.
