Kathmandu, Oct 29: The government has approved President Ram Chandra Poudel’s official visit to Qatar to attend the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha from November 30 to December 2.
The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, according to Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel.
Minister Kharel also informed that Schedule 2 of the Remuneration and Allowances of Federal Parliament Office Bearers Act, 2073 has been amended, removing the provision that allowed office bearers to have a personal secretary as part of their facilities.
