Simra, Nov 20: Preparations are underway for talks between the Genji group and the administration following recent clashes in Simra.

Chief District Officer Dharmendra Kumar Mishra contacted Genji leader Samrat Upadhyay by phone, inviting the group to participate in dialogue. While the Genji group has accepted the invitation, no final decision has been made on the venue.

The group insists that the talks be held at the Area Police Office in Simra, while the administration is considering whether to host the meeting at the District Administration Office or the police office.

Both the District Administration Office and the Genji group are emphasizing dialogue to ease tensions, even as demonstrations by the agitated group continue in Simra.
