Afghanistan, Nov 20: At least 30 rebel fighters have been killed in a suicide attack in Afghanistan’s border region, following the deaths of 12 people last week, according to the Pakistani Taliban and its allies.
Of the fatalities, 23 occurred in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while three others were killed in the Mohammad, Lakki, and Tank areas. Reports indicate that Pakistan may continue military operations in the border region.
Fighting erupted along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border last month, after which both countries agreed to an immediate ceasefire.
