Prime Minister Karki Meets Chinese Ambassador Song
Kathmandu, Dec 17: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal H.E. Chan Song paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki at Singhadurbar as he prepares to return home after completing his tenure in Nepal.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various dimensions of Nepal–China relations and matters of bilateral interest. Ambassador Song said China is a close friend of Nepal and has been supporting Nepal’s development in multiple sectors, adding that such cooperation will continue in the future.
Prime Minister Karki congratulated Ambassador Song on the successful completion of his term and wished him a safe and successful journey. He reaffirmed Nepal’s firm commitment to the One-China policy and assured that no activities would be allowed from Nepali soil against China’s national interests.
The Prime Minister also expressed confidence that China would continue to support Nepal’s development efforts in the days ahead.
