Nepal Announces 15-Member Squad for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers
Kathmandu, Jan 4: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 15-member Nepali squad for the 2026 ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup qualifiers, which will be hosted by Nepal.
The team will be led by Indu Barma, while Pooja Mahato has been appointed vice-captain.
The squad includes Rubina Chhetri, Sita Rana Magar, Bindu Rawal, Samjhana Khadka, Kajal Shrestha, Kavita Joshi, Kavita Kunwar, Rachana Choudhary, Riya Sharma, Roma Thapa, Suman Bista, Rajmati Chhanisha, and Upari.
The qualifiers will be held in Nepal from January 14 to February, with matches scheduled at the TU Cricket Ground and Mulpani Cricket Ground.
The tournament will determine qualification spots for the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
