Fire Breaks Out at Timber Warehouse in Sinamangal
Kathmandu, Jan 7: A fire broke out at a timber warehouse in Sinamangal on Tuesday afternoon, affecting nearby houses and schools.
Firefighters were immediately deployed after the blaze was reported. According to eyewitnesses, although the fire spread to surrounding buildings, no casualties were reported.
“The fire affected nearby schools and houses, but no one was injured. When I arrived, the warehouse was fully engulfed in flames. Some belongings were saved by moving furniture. The most important thing is that no lives were lost,” an eyewitness said.
The fire was brought under control shortly after fire brigade teams arrived at the scene. Details regarding the extent of property damage have not yet been made public.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
