Kathmandu, Mar 6: Vote counting is currently underway in Chitwan-2 following the House of Representatives election held on Thursday, with RSP President Rabi Lamichhane maintaining a strong early lead.
According to the latest vote count, Lamichhane has secured 10,820 votes so far. Nepali Congress candidate Meena Kharel is in second place with 3,126 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Asmin Ghimire has received 2,845 votes.
Vote counting is continuing and further updates are expected as more ballots are counted.
