Nepal becomes the happiest country in South Asia

Kathmandu, March 20. Nepal has lead to become one of the most happiest countries in South Asia.

According to the World Happiness Report, Nepal has improved its rank from 92nd last year to 87th happiest country in the world this year.

In South Asia, Nepal has topped with 5.269 points followed by Maldives with 5.198 points and Bangladesh with 5.025 points. Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and Afghanistan then follow into the list with 4.934 points, 4.325 points, 3.819 points and 1423 points respectively.

Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India have improved their ranks whereas others have slightly slipped down in their rankings compared to last year.

Bhutan, however was not included in the list.
