Kathmandu, July 3. The Narayangadh-Muglin road section remains closed due to landslides induced by heavy rain at several points along the route.
Information Officer for the Division Road Office, Shiva Khanal told RSS that the road remained almost closed for traffic since Thursday. Multiple landslides are continuously occurring at Charkilo, Panchkilo, and Seti Dobhan.
The landslide debris can’t be removed right away since the landslide is still happening due to the constant rain, said District Traffic Police Office.
The route was only available to traffic for four hours on Thursday and two hours on Friday. A huge number of automobiles and their passengers are still stuck on the highway.
